My Goal My Ambition

MY GOAL

 MY AMBITION

So, now I'm gonna tell you about my goal, my ambition, or what I want to be in the future. Well, actually, I haven't really decide it yet. But, here are my goals in the future. There are being a doctor, professional basketball player, and/or an entrepreneur.

Okay, so since elementary school, I always want to be a doctor. That is because my whole family: my parents, my grandparents, my aunt, and my uncle are doctors. So, I was thinking that I would like to continue my study at FK UNPAD or FK UI to be a doctor just like my family.

When I was at 3rd grade at elementary school, I joined my school's basketball team. I joined it because my PE teacher told me that I have advantages and talent in basketball, maybe because I was the tallest student that time, so yea finally I decided to joined and start played basketball. Since then, i kept practicing and realize that I was really enjoyed it, like i was having so much fun in the game of basketball.

I practice basketball once in a week when I was still at elementary school. I've joined many tournaments with my friends. I became a captain of my team when I was at 6th grade. Even tho me and my team never win a trophy, but we've learned, we got lessons and experiences that not all of my friends had it.

At junior high school, I increased my practice, maybe two or three times a week. I started to joined one of the best basketball club in Bandung. I met a lot of talented people and I got so much important lessons about basketball there. I've joined many tournaments that time, both in school's team and club.

When I was at 9th grade, which is my senior year at junior high school, I started to think, "How about being a professional basketball player?" Yes, I was thinking playing in IBL (Indonesian Basketball League) and be the member of Indonesia National Basketball Team. Yeah, someone's said "It's only crazy until you do it, so just do it." Honestly, I also think that this is crazy, but who knows right? So I still keep that dreams alive, until now.

At senior high school, I still practiced basketball, more often then ever. I can practice up to twice a day, four times a week. My 10th grade was amazing. My school's team won 4th position in a tournament, which is the highest position that I ever been. I also met lots of cool friends these time, and we'd support each others and made a great composition team. Even now it's on pandemic, we still practice basketball twice a week. Here, I felt like my skills are getting better and better, and I want to practice basketball forever in my life, whether it's just a hobby or maybe it will be my profession in the future.

When I was at 10th grade, which is the first year at senior high school, I have a brand new hobby, and that is a hobby to make some money by myself. That time, I was being a part time reseller on sneakers and streetwear items. Finally, at the end of the first semester, me and my friend made an online-based store. Basically, it's a consignment and pre-order store which is focused on sneakers and streetwear items. At the half of the second semester, we made another online-based store and it is a preloved and thrift store. Until now, at 11th grade, from these little business, I've got appromaximately 15 million Rupiahs. Not a bad start, but it's still far far away from being  successful.

Based on this hobby, I was thinking about being a business man or an entrepreneur. Because of it, I was thinking to continue my study at SBM ITB or Business Administration UNPAD.

Until I write this blog, I'm still confused about what journey should I take next? Where should I continue my study in the future? What should I become? I still asking my family and friend about it, about which way is the best for me. I hope I can get the answer as soon as possible and escape from this confusion. Aamiin...
